Welcome to our Rottie world. The picture above is the view from our home which is located in the foothills of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. My husband Jim and I retired here from South Florida in 2002 to enjoy the "good life".  It is very beautiful and peaceful here.  The weather is mild and we have a beautiful change of seasons.  Our dogs love the weather too and get very excited the few days it snows.

Rottweilers have been my favorite breed since I bought my first one in 1976.  Although they can sometimes be a challenge, they are the most loyal, stable and loving breed you can own.  They are extremely smart, and for that reason, sometimes we find it hard to stay one step ahead of them.  They really have a way of stealing your heart forever.

Rottweilers are a working breed and like to have an assignment.  We are constantly training them and giving them that assignment!  Our dogs participate in conformation and once they achieve their championship, move onto obedience and other AKC venues.  Two of our dogs are also registered therapy dogs.  They visit schools and nursing homes bringing their loving and willing spirit to the young and old.  It is a very rewarding experience for me as an owner to see our dogs put a smile on someone’s face.

Although our breeding program is limited, Jim and I are working hard to do our part to improve the breed with careful selection of the sires and dams.  These parents will have all their health clearances, and the breedings we decide to undertake will be carefully and methodically planned out.

Jim and I are active members in the
